Dear Parents/Carers,

School Easter Fayre

We are holding an Easter Fayre at school on Saturday 29th March from 1-4pm; please come along and join us in our spring celebration! There will be activities such as a lucky dip, tombola, cake and sweet stalls, Easter crafts to do and an Easter treasure hunt.

We are also holding four competitions that will be judged at the fayre. Each competition is split into KS1 and KS2 categories, with a winner for each category. Children can enter as many as they like, and be as imaginative and creative with their entries as they want. Entries need to be brought into school by Friday 28th March; they will be displayed for everyone to admire during the fayre and our panel of judges will announce the winners towards the end of the event. There will also be a colouring competition for children to complete at the fayre, which will be judged the following week.

If you have any items to donate for the tombola, or you would like to contribute homemade biscuits or cakes for the cake stall, please bring them into school from 26-28th March. If you’d like to help out at the event you would be warmly welcomed; please let the office know as soon as possible.

Competitions

  • Easter bonnet contest

Decorate a hat any way you like with an Easter or spring theme.

  • Make an Easter garden

Design and make an Easter garden. You can use whatever materials you like, but remember you have to be able to bring it in to school to be displayed!

  • Write an Easter poem

Write a poem about Easter or spring. The only rule is that it needs to be at least five lines long.

  • Decorate an egg

Be as creative and colourful as you like. (If you use a real egg, don’t forget to boil it first!)

We can’t wait to see the amazing creations you come up with, good luck to everyone!
