Hampton Vale Primary Academy School have a newly elected enthusiastic and creative School Council. Three children from each year group, elected by their peers, and lead by our Head Girl and Boy will meet once a month to discuss school issues. Supported by a member of staff.
Each council member will discuss with their class any issues or ideas of our own to improve the school which are then put into an action plan for us to aim to achieve by the end of the school year. We are also going to be working to promote some amazing projects during the school year: Children in Need, Anti Bullying week and Operation Christmas Child.
Our pupils believe that through their School Council they are making a positive contribution to Hampton Vale, thy feel that they can make a difference. The council members are developing life skills contributing to their community and the wider society.
We think our school is going to have a great year with many amazing learning opportunities!
